Now that you've gone though all the content of the SAM 1 training, I have a few exercises and questions to suggest so you can get a bit more comfortable with Secutix and fix the most important elements. Try not to peek at the answers beforehand!

3 - Create a relay contact file. There are three several ways to do it, would you be able to list them?

  • From the structure contact file you can create its relays
  • Creating a public individual contact + creating a structure contact file and linking them: You can link them starting from either one!
  • From the public individual contact file you can also create a new structure contact when searching to link them to a structure
  • In the structure menu, after searching, there's also a button to create directly a new relay


4 - Why shouldn't you turn a public individual contact file with a history into a relay?

1. The types of contacts: It is very important not to turn an individual public contact file with any history (events attendance, purchases...) into a relay: all the history of the individual contact file would then be linked to the structure that individual would be a relay of.


5 - What's the difference between the cultural, purchase, attendance and financial historieshistory?

3. The contact file:

  • Purchase history: Set of orders made by a contact.
  • Cultural history: Set of products (events, passes, matches…) which the contact has a ticket for. It can be a ticket under their name that they haven't purchased personally, but that someone else has purchased for them.
  • Attendance history: Tickets that have been controlled at the access of the venue (museum, concert, opera...).
  • Financial history: Set of payments made by the contact.


6 - Search for all the relays of a popular school name in your region (eg. Jules Ferry)

2. How to find a contact:

In France, there are many "Jules Ferry" schools: École maternelle Jules Ferry, École Jules Ferry, Lycée Jules Ferry, Collège Jules Ferry, École Jules Ferry...

To keep all the options open, use *Jules Ferry, in the Individual contact menu or in the Structure contact menu.

2. How to find a contact:

You would need to start with * plus the end of the family name. And to make sure to search just for the family name, add a coma after the end of the family name. It should look like this for a family name that ends or contains "pont":
