We've modified two of the existing features in the online seat map, primarily with a view to improving the user experience. The comparison step, available when selecting a block in the first step of seat selection, is now optional. Another simplification is that the rate modification of a selected seat no longer requires explicit confirmation from the user by pressing an update button. 

Optional comparison

In certain cases, simplification of the customer journey is a priority. We've added a new option enabling the comparison blocks to be made optional in the logical configuration screens. This can be configured in the logical configuration visualisation options, and is applied only when a visualisation (svg) file is set up. When comparison is disabled, block information is displayed by hovering over the polygon. Clicking on a block starts the second part of the process: the selection of a seat within the block.

Simplified rate modifications

Rate modification for a selected seat has been enhanced. This action is now taken into account immediately when selecting the new rate in theupdate button has been removed.
