Pixel email tracking consent
RELEASED IN V3.6 Do you operate in a region where the new email tracking consent regulations will apply? A new authorization field now lets you capture each contact's consent for email campaign tracking, ahead of the requirement taking effect. Campaign open and click rates now count only contacts who consented to tracking, so they no longer drop when contacts refuse it.
Solution
A new contact authorization field is now available to capture whether a contact has consented to email campaign tracking (pixel opens and link clicks). This allows institutions to start collecting consent proactively, ahead of upcoming regulatory requirements.
Getting started
Configuration restrictions This field (AUTHOR_INFO/TRACKING) is not active by default. Institutions wishing to enable it should contact the service team.
The Opened and Clicked rates of email campaigns are now based on emails delivered to contacts with tracking consent, instead of all delivered emails. E
The new rates apply automatically once the tracking consent field is active.
In Audience Management > Campaigns, an info icon on the OPENED and CLICKED column headers explains how each rate is calculated.
