External Wallet Actions and Statuses

This page explains what is logged when a ticket is used with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

  • Action: what happened to the wallet pass.

  • Status: the ticket state after that action.

  • Where to see it: Back office → Support screen → Ticket → Status history.

Use the numbers in the diagram to match each wallet event with the corresponding actions and status changes in the table below.

Quick status meaning

  • INACTIVE: pass is not added to the wallet.

  • ACTIVE: pass is added and usable in the wallet.

  • EXPIRED: pass is no longer valid for the current owner, usually after transfer.

  • DELETED: pass must be removed and marked deleted because the ticket is invalidated.

User binds the ticket with biometric info or pin code before receiving the pass payload when adding the ticket to the wallet for the first time.

User clicks "Add to Google/Apple Wallet" to see the pass in the preview screen. Also used when re-adding a previously removed.

The pass owner transfers the ticket to another user.

The iOS device downloads the latest pass information upon receiving the NOTIFY notification.
